Business leads
Jamie Holmes
Jamie is a founding director of NASH Maritime, a Chartered Engineer and project management professional experienced in maritime and civil engineering consultancy. He provides specialist maritime engineering input through all phases of a development's lifecycle in estuarine, nearshore and offshore environments.
Dr Ed Rogers
Ed is a founding director of NASH Maritime and a recognised technical maritime risk expert. He leads delivery of maritime risk assessments, risk model development and safety management systems/software, as well as berth optimisation studies and navigation assessments for maritime Infrastructure developments.
Chris Hutchings
Chris is a project director with over 30 years’ international experience winning and delivering large interdisciplinary projects. He is very familiar with the operational needs of different marine stakeholders, having worked with ports and terminal operators, renewable energy developers, oil, gas and chemical companies and major EPC contractors.
Sam Anderson-Brown
Sam is an Associate Director at NASH Maritime, leading the Ports & Harbours team and supporting clients to ensure construction and operations can safely co-exist with ongoing vessel activity. With over 15 years of experience in the sector, Sam has a broad and practical understanding of operations, navigation risk management, and maritime developments. A key focus of his work includes infrastructure and governance projects, where he helps deliver safe and efficient solutions for complex marine environments.
Brocque Preece
Brocque is a Principal Consultant at NASH Maritime, leading the Energy and Future Fuels service. He helps clients navigate maritime risks in a rapidly evolving energy landscape, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance across all marine-related supply chain stages – upstream production, midstream transportation and storage, and downstream marine distribution stages. A naval architect and chartered engineer, Brocque brings worldwide experience in operations and maritime infrastructure ports and offshore. He is a recognised specialist in maritime risk consulting, risk assessment, mooring studies, and incident reviews/expert witness, supporting projects that involve gas and alternative fuels as part of the energy transition.
Bruce Mills
Bruce is an Associate Director of Technology and Software atNASH Maritime. He leads the Technology Advisory service, helping clients defineuser needs, specify requirements, evaluate vendors, and implement navigationmanagement technology solutions. With extensive knowledge of port operationsand safety management, Bruce brings experience from both consultancy and thesafety management technology sector. His expertise includes sourcing andsecuring systems such as VTS and Port Management Information Systems (PMIS) forports and offshore developments, ensuring solutions meet operational challengesand regulatory requirements.
Richard Marlow
Richard is a Principal Consultant at NASH Maritime, headingup GIS and Data Analysis. With 20 years of experience, he has supported a widerange of inshore and offshore development projects, applying advanced marineGIS and spatial data approaches to inform decision-making and manage navigationrisk. Richard specialises in transforming complex maritime datasets intoactionable insights, enabling clients to plan and operate safely andefficiently. His expertise spans data modelling, spatial analysis, and visualisation,underpinning NASH Maritime’s work in ports, harbours, offshore energy, andnavigation risk management.
Dr Andrew Rawson
Andrew is an Associate Director at NASH Maritime, leadingthe Offshore Development service. He specialises in managing complex navigationimpacts and risks to enable successful coexistence between offshore energyprojects and other sea users. With 15 years’ experience in risk analysis,traffic modelling, and navigation risk assessment, Andrew has worked across thefull lifecycle of major offshore developments, from site optimisation andfront-end design to construction and operations planning. With a PhD inmaritime risk assessment and a chartered engineer, his expertise ensuresrobust, evidence-based assessments that support safe, efficient, and compliantproject delivery.
